CHRISTMAS TIME. Making Cards

Christmas is near and we are going to make some easy and nice cards to decorate or send to your loved ones.

CARD 1 Santa

Materials

• Green card stock
• Red paper
• Glue

• Tempera paints
• Googly eyes

 

STEP 1: Fold a  green A4 card stock in half.

STEP 2: Cut the shape of Santa's hat in red paper. Glue it on the green card.

STEP 3: Glue a pair of goofy eyes below the hat.

STEP 4: Put some white tempera paint onto one paper plate, and some red, black, and pink (mix some  red and white) onto another. Stamp white handprint beards, then use fingertips to stamp the trim on the hats, and a nose, mouth, and cheeks on each face.

CARD 2. Holiday Lights

Materials: 

• Paper in different bright fancy colours (wrapping paper, .glitter paper, golden or silver paper, etc.)
• Scissors

• Glue stick
• Card stock

STEP 1: Fold a  A4 card stock in half. 

STEP 2: From the paper, cut out a number of colorful candles.

STEP 3: Cut out an equal number of yellow candle flames. 

STEP 4: then simply glue the pieces in place.

CARD 3. Reindeer

Materials:

• A plate with brown tempera paint.
• Colour card stock
• Craft glue
• Googly eyes
• Mini pom-poms, brown and red
• Brown marker

STEP 1: Fold your cardstock A4 sheet in half.

STEP 2: Use a thumb to stamp 3 reindeer heads in the centre of the card.

STEP 3: Glue on googly eyes and pom-pom noses (including a red one for Rudolph, of course).

STEP 4: Finish by drawing antlers.

CARD 4. Christmas Tree

Materials:

• Wavy-edged craft scissors and regular scissors
• Paper scraps in shades of green and brown
• Glue stick

• Colour card stock
• Star sticker

STEP 1: Use the craft scissors to cut a number of 1.5 centimetres-wide strips from the green paper. Then use regular scissors to cut a small tree trunk.

STEP 2: To assemble each tree, first glue the trunk onto a card and glue on the green strips, cutting each as you go so it's shorter than the previous one. 

STEP 3: The last strip form a triangular tip.

STEP 4: Top the tree with a sticker star.
