Flower Anatomy Model

En la última clase hemos pintado flores.

Hoy las observaremos con más detalle.

Vamos a hacer un modelo de flor.

Necesitarás:

• Tu bloc de dibujo.
• Cartulina.
• Tijeras.
• Rotuladores.
• Pegamento

Last day we painted some flowers.

Today we can look at flowers more carefully.

We are going to make a flower model.

You will need:

• Your sketch pad.
• Construction paper or cardboard.
• Scissors.
• Markers.
• Glue.

PASO 1:

Dibuja esto en cartulinas verde y roja.

STEP 1:

Draw this on green and red cardboard:

PASO 2:

Dobla la cartulina por la línea punteada y recorta ambas partes juntas.

Abre (desdobla) todas las partes de las flores.

Tendrás lo siguiente. 

STEP 2:

Fold the cardboard along the doted line and cut out both halves.

Open (unfold) all the flower parts.

You will have this:

PASO 3:

Pega la primera pieza (carpelo) en el bloc.

STEP 3:

Stick the first piece (carpel) on your sketchpad.

PASO 4:

Ahora puedes hacer los estambres con un limpiapipas y dos pompones. Pegalos sólo por la base. 

STEP 4:

Now you can make the stamens with a pipe cleaner and a two pompoms. Glue just the base.

PASO 5:

Añade los pétalos. Primero pega los tres pétalos juntos. Luego pegalos por la base en el bloc.

STEP 5:

Add the petals. First glue the three petals together. Then glue the petals base on the sketchpad.

PASO 6:

Añade los sépalos. Primero pégalos juntos. Luego pégalos por la base al bloc. 

STEP 6:

Add the sepals. First glue them together. Then glue the sepals base on the sketchpad.

PASO 7:

Dibuja o pega el tallo verde. 

STEP 7:

Draw or glue the green stem.

PASO 8:

Finalmente rotula todas las partes de la flor.
