Zentangle surrealism

In this project we use black markers for our Zentangle backgrounds and watercolours, crayons or colour pencils for the main motive.

STEP 1
Draw a simple picture using lines and black areas.

STEP 2
Shade some areas by using small dots.

STEP 3
Colour the object(s). Use watercolours, crayons or colour pencils. Use bright colours.

STEP 4
Fill the rest of the paper with a lot of differents patterns in black and white. use a black marker.

Pay attention to:

   - Variety of pattern

  
- Varied line thickness

- Colour  blending
