CALLIGRAMS

Calligrams are a form of poetry. Calligrams "draw" poems with words and letters. You can see what I mean looking at these examples.

This one is about a lighthouse.

Now it's your turn. Try and make a calligram. Follow these steps.

1. First think of a shape.

2. Then use words and sentences to fill the shape or to outline it.

3. You can use different colours, letter types and letter sizes.
