MEHNDI DESIGNS

Temporary henna tattoos or Mehndi has been a part of celebrations in India for centuries.
Learn about this decorative body art and create your own design.

1. Find out about mehndi designs. You can search for "Indian mehndi designs"
2. Trace your hand (right or left) on a piece of construction paper. Cut it out.
3. Use a colour pencil to lightly sketch a nehndi design on the hand. 
4. Make your design complicated and intrincate. Use traditional shapes.
5. Use a black marker to trace over the design. Use thick and thin lines.
